Brazilian agribusiness investors are to partner Delta State government to develop a modern cattle and beef value chain that will position the state as a major livestock production hub.
It was revealed that Delta possesses the same climatic and environmental conditions that enabled Brazil to become the world’s largest cattle and beef producer.
The proposal was presented at the ongoing Delta State Economic and Investment Summit 2026 in Asaba by Brazilian agribusiness expert, Roberto Fonseca Janete da Fonseca, assessing the state of capability of supplying Nigeria and neighbouring African markets.
