Former Imo State deputy governor, Prince Eze Madumere, has described democracy as the “panacea” for Nigeria’s sustainable socio-economic and cultural development, urging citizens to embrace unity, accountability, and active participation as the country marks 2026 Democracy Day.
Speaking with newsmen in Owerri, the American-trained technocrat and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain said Nigeria’s progress hinges on good governance, not just elections.
