Developers Target 3,000 Jobs As Housing Deficit Hits 14.98m Units

The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) has said a new 2,400-unit housing estate in Abuja will create more than 3,000 jobs, as the association highlighted Nigeria’s deepening housing deficit, now estimated at 14.98 million units.
The vice president of REDAN, Abuja Chapter, Dr Gbadewole Kayode, has said the development of a 2,400-unit housing estate in Abuja will generate more than 3,000 jobs while helping to bridge the country’s housing deficit.
Kayode disclosed this at the groundbreaking ceremony of The Embassy in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
