Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, September 30, 2026: Naira extends appreciation against USD

The Naira extended its appreciation against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market ahead of the Independence Day holiday.
Central Bank of Nigeria data showed that the Naira gained further to N1,329.16 on Wednesday from N1,330.47 exchanged on Tuesday.
This means that the Naira appreciated by N1.31 against the dollar on a day-to-day basis.
Meanwhile, at the black market, the Naira remained unchanged at N1,375 per dollar, according to multiple Bureau de Change operators in Abuja.
This means that the Naira traded with mixed sentiments across the foreign exchange markets on Wednesday, ahead of the October 1 Independence Day holiday and the new month.
