DSS arrests three more suspects linked to Nasarawa varsity professor’s kidnap

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday night arrested three more persons suspected to be members of the group linked to the abduction of the Dean of Agriculture at Nasarawa State University, Professor Samuel Avengbe Okunsebor.
The university don was rescued by DSS operatives two days after he was abducted by gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Mile Uku, a border community between Lafia and Nasarawa-Eggon Local Government Areas.


Two suspects, including a woman, were arrested by the DSS at the time.
