The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and stakeholders in Bauchi and Gombe states have called for stronger action to end child marriage, improve girls’ access to education and protect their rights.
The call was made in Gombe at a one-day stakeholders’ engagement organised by UNICEF in collaboration with the Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC), ahead of the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11.
