EFCC arraigns man, company over alleged N7.8m car deal fraud in Ibadan

The Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a man, Adeoye Gabriel Adewale, and his company, De Lukas Global Concept Limited, over alleged fraud involving N7.819 million.
According to a statement by EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, Adewale was arraigned on Thursday, August 13, 2026, before Justice Olusola Adetujoye of the Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan.
The statement added that the defendant allegedly defrauded one Abdulrasaq Awotedo of N7,819,000 after presenting himself as a car dealer and collecting the money for the purchase of two vehicles.
