Elon Musk becomes World’s first trillionaire

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has become the first person in history to have a net worth exceeding $1 trillion, according to CNN on Friday.
The remarkable performance follows the extraordinarily successful public offering of Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX, which made its stock market debut.
SpaceX announced its first public offering at $135 per share, bringing Musk’s estimated wealth above $1 trillion.
Trading under the ticker symbol SPCX on the Nasdaq exchange, the company’s shares surged to $165 shortly after trading began, representing an increase of about 22 percent from the IPO price. The jump boosted SpaceX’s market value to more than $2 trillion.
