Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has picked Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique as his first-choice manager to coach the Red Devils permanently, ahead of Michael Carrick, if the Spaniard was “up for grabs.”
Ferdinand also admitted that Carrick has earned the right to manage Manchester United in a full-time capacity.
Recall that Man United appointed Carrick to manage the club temporarily after dismissing Ruben Amorim a few months ago.
Carrick has done well so far since taking over from Amorim, guiding United to secure Champions League qualification for next season.
