The federal government is expanding its Safe Schools intervention beyond school premises to vulnerable host communities, borderland and riverine areas to strengthen security and resilience around learning centres across the country.
The national coordinator of the Safe Schools Initiative Nigeria, Hajiya Halima Iliya Ibrahim, disclosed this in Jos, Plateau State at the 4th National Camp of Man Oโ War Nigeria at the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), Mountain School, Shere Hills.
