Festac 77 movie signs landmark Afrexim agreement

As part of the ongoing 2026 Canex Weekend taking place in Lagos, the executive producer of 77: The Festac Conspiracy Prince Tonye T. J. T Princewill, Chairman of the board of Adonis Production put pen to paper in a landmark agreement with Canex Creations Incorporated (CCI), a specialized commercial subsidiary under the Afrexim bank’s $2 billion dollar fund. The movie which is a sequel to the much acclaimed 76, still showing on Netflix goes behind the scenes to give audiences what the CCI CEO Osahon Akpata described as “a film Africa can be proud of”.
