The Federal Government has commenced emergency palliative rehabilitation of the deteriorating Benin-Asaba Road, with the Minister of Works, Engr David Umahi, assuring motorists that the intervention is expected to make the road temporarily motorable within the next four weeks.
Umahi, who disclosed this during the flag-off ceremony in Benin City yesterday, clarified that no contract has been awarded to High Tech or any other contractor for the temporary rehabilitation.
