ABUJA — THE Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) on Wednesday, urged the Federal Government to improve workers’ pay immediately, rather than waiting for the next review of the national minimum wage.
Briefing journalists in Abuja after its National Administrative Executive Council, NAC meeting, the TUC President, Comrade Festus Osifo, said government could independently increase the salaries of federal workers or raise the pay of the least-paid employees without waiting for a new Minimum Wage Act.
