The Federal Government has deployed a dedicated passport intervention team to the United Kingdom to fast-track pending, new and renewal applications by Nigerians living in the country.
The team was dispatched by the Nigeria Immigration Service on the directive of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and is expected to arrive in the UK on Monday.
The intervention team will work with the Nigerian High Commission to facilitate passport enrolment and processing for Nigerians across designated cities in the UK.
