FG not merely preparing for 2027 FATF review, but determined to excel -AGF Fagbemi

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, has said Nigeria is not merely preparing to participate in the 2027 Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Mutual Evaluation but is committed to achieving an outstanding performance.
Fagbemi stated this yesterday at the Federal Ministry of Justice’s Anti-Money Laundering, Countering Financing of Terrorism and Countering Proliferation Financing (AML/CFT/CPF) Stocktake Exercise held in Abuja.
The exercise was organised to assess Nigeria’s institutional preparedness ahead of the FATF evaluation and identify areas requiring further strengthening.
