Fintiri Inaugurates Peace Committee To Address Lamurde Security Challenges

Governor Ahmadu Umaru  Fintiri has inaugurated a peace committee to address the lingering security challenges involving Bachama and Chobo communities in Lamurde Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The inauguration took place at the Government House, Yola, where Governor Fintiri expressed concern over the recent violence that claimed lives, destroyed property, and created fear among residents of the affected communities.
The governor commended security agencies in the state for their efforts in combating insecurity and maintaining law and order. He, however, described the crisis as unfortunate and stressed the need for urgent measures to restore lasting peace in the area.
