Finucane Dominates Track With Historic 4th Gold In Glasgow

Welsh cyclist Emma Finucane made Commonwealth Games history on Sunday by becoming the first sprint rider to win four track golds at a single edition, capturing the keirin to complete a clean sweep of her events.
The 23-year-old added the keirin title to earlier victories in the team sprint, individual sprint, and 1,000m time trial, capping four consecutive days of racing at the Chris Hoy Velodrome.
Olympic champion Ellesse Andrews of New Zealand, the defending keirin gold medalist, settled for silver as Finucane outpaced the field in the final.
