Phone maker, Xiaomi, has officially launched its Redmi Note 17 smartphone series in Nigeria, with battery life and longer software support emerging as key features of the new devices.
The series comprises the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging technology.
The company said the battery is designed to last up to six years of typical use.
The company is also promising up to six years of security updates for the series, potentially allowing users to keep the devices for longer before needing to replace them.
