Food security: Lagos targets N16.14trn economy potential through mega Infrastructure

The Lagos State Government said it has  intensified efforts to transform agriculture into a multi-trillion-naira economic sector, unveiling major infrastructure and market reforms aimed at strengthening the state’s N16.14 trillion food economy potentials.
Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, disclosed this yesterday, during the 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, held at Alausa, Ikeja .
