Francis Duru: Family announces funeral arrangements for late actor

The family of actor, Chief Francis Duru, has announced the funeral arrangements for the Nollywood veteran .
According to a statement released on the actor’s Instagram page on Monday, funeral activities will take place in Abuja and his home state, Imo.
The statement was jointly signed by his sister, Anthonia Chenyi, and his first son, Ebuka Duru.
Duru, who passed away on October 22, 2026, aged 57, will be laid to rest in December.
The funeral programme released by the family shows the Service of Songs and Tributes will take place at 5pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at Family Worship Centre, Idris Gidado Street, Wuye, Abuja.
