Funding cuts, space deficit stifling healthcare in Taraba –Nuhu

The Executive Secretary, Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency (TSPHCDA), Dr. Tukura Nuhu, has identified inadequate counterpart funding, a lack of office accommodation, and poor budget releases as major challenges undermining primary healthcare delivery across the state.
Briefing journalists in Jalingo on the agency’s milestones under Governor Agbu Kefas, he listed unpaid electricity bills, insufficient monthly operational imprest, and high fuel costs for maintaining cold stores as key operational hurdles.
