The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), otherwise known as cooking gas, increased by 8.3 percent on a Month-on-Month, MoM, bases to N1,300 per kilogram (kg) as at September 16, 2026 from N1,200 it was sold in the corresponding period of August 2026.
Checks by Vanguard confirmed that the current price of LPG in Lagos, varies by gas plants. Accredited gas stations were selling one kilogram (kg) at N1,300 while other smaller gas plants sold at N1,350 and N1,400 depending on the location.
Dealers said the official prices in other parts of the country are higher.
