Germany Lauds Nigerian Military’s Role In Promoting Regional Stability

The German Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Stefan Rossel, has commended Nigeria for promoting regional stability in the West African sub-region.
The Ambassador acknowledged Nigeria’s strategic role in promoting regional peace and security in West Africa.
He stated this on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, during a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede, at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja.
In a statement by the Director, Defence Information, Major General Samaila Uba, Ambassador Rossel described Nigeria as a valued partner of the Federal Republic of Germany.
