Gov Ododo Orders Renovation Of Government Science Secondary School, Lokoja

Kogi State governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has directed the renovation of Government Science Secondary School, Lokoja, as part of his commitment to improving educational infrastructure and creating a conducive learning environment for learners across the state.
The school was relocated from the main town to the Zone 8 axis by the administration of the late Alhaji Ibrahim Idris in February 2011 to give way for the take-off campus of the Federal University, Lokoja
Since then, the school has suffered neglect due to its location, which has also made it difficult to reach both teachers and students, particularly with the recent increase in transport fares.
