Gov Okpebholo Signs MoU For Edo-owned Airline

Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Express Airline Co. Ltd and KDN Aero as part of efforts to establish a state-owned airline, Edo Air.
The agreement was signed yesterday at the Government House, Benin City, following a presentation by the Chinese airline on its operational capacity and technical expertise.
At the event, Okpebholo expressed optimism about the partnership, saying the proposed airline would commence operations soon.
He described the MoU as the first step towards a long-term partnership, adding that his administration was satisfied with the prospective technical partners’ capacity and capability.
