Gov Yusuf appoints new Sports Commission members, Kano Pillars board

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointment of members of the Kano State Sports Commission and a new Management Board for Kano Pillars Football Club as part of efforts to reposition sports administration and promote youth development in the state.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
According to the statement, Alhaji Tukur Babangida has been appointed Chairman of the Kano State Sports Commission.
