Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri has taken sweeping action following Bayelsa United’s relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), dissolving the club’s board and management while also terminating the contracts of all players.
The drastic decision comes after the Yenagoa-based club suffered relegation despite receiving substantial financial support from the state government throughout the season.
