Group Urges Probe Into Alleged Plot To Import Thugs Into Benue

A group under the auspices of National Intelligence Watch has called on security agencies to investigate allegations that politicians are planning to import foreign thugs into Benue State to cause violence ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group also urged security agencies to take preventive measures to protect residents and safeguard the credibility of the electoral process.
In a statement issued by its chairman, Matthew Apine, the organisation expressed concern over allegations that armed groups could be recruited to foment violence in the state.
