Guber Polls: ‘Osun no be Edo’ – Davido mocks APC

Afrobeat singer, Davido has mocked the All Progressives Congress, APC, over its performance in the ongoing governorship election in Osun State.
Asserting that Osun is not Edo State, Davido claimed that the APC had lost in the ward of former Osun State Governor, Bisi Akande.
He said this in a series of posts shared on his verified X handle on Saturday, as votes were being counted across the state.
The tweet read, “Their group chat don scatter! Baba Akande lost his ward. Gov Adeleke is cruising to victory. Shame APC. Osun no be Edo!” he wrote.
Recall that the singer, openly mobilised support for the incumbent and Accord Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke, his uncle.
