Gunmen kill teacher, abduct students in Adamawa community

A teacher has been confirmed dead, and dozens of students have been taken from Government Day Secondary School, Lassa, in Borno State’s Askira/Uba Local Government Area, which shares a border with Adamawa.
Mr Solomon Kwamagar, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy and a Lassa native, confirmed the incident on Monday morning.
He revealed that the perpetrators arrived on motorcycles and stormed the school.
