The Oyo State Government has declared Tuesday a work-free day to commemorate and celebrate the new Islamic calendar year, Hijrah 1448AH.
This is contained in a statement issued on Monday in Ibadan by the
state commissioner for information and civic orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade.
According to Oyelade, the state government recognises the importance of the Hijrah in the lives of our Muslim brothers and sisters.
