I remain NDC guber candidate, Balogun assures supporters, calls for calm

The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State, Naheem Balogun, has assured his teeming supporters that his candidacy remains   intact, dismissing rumours of another person taking the party’s ticket away from hi m.
Balogun gave the assurance yesterday while receiving party faithful, including his supporters on his return from a short trip to the United States.
He said he was impressed by the turnouts of supporters, saying their presence was a sort of motivation for him.
He reiterated the need for calm, adding that he remained the duly recognised candidate of the party for the governorship election in 2027.
