Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has claimed he speaks regularly with Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, describing himself as one of the former Real Madrid star’s biggest admirers .
The singer made the revelation during a livestream with content creator Carter Efe, where he also explained why he supported Portugal during the recently concluded 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to Davido, his loyalty to Portugal was influenced by his close relationship with several players in the national team.
