IBB condoles Sultan, Sokoto govt, family over Alhaji’s demise

Former head of state, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (retd), has commiserated with the family of Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji, the Sultan of Sokoto and the government of Sokoto State over his passing.
In a statement, he described the deceased as an elder statesman and a patriot, who dedicated his life to the development of Nigeria.
IBB said his exemplary leadership skills and selflessness were evident from a young age and was brought to bear all through his service to our dear nation and his contributions to the nation’s greatness and dedication to every national assignment became the benchmark for diligence and forthrightness.
