Olatunji Disu, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), on Thursday visited the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, near Jos, over the recent attacks on the institute by gunmen.
Disu was represented by Isyaku Muhammed, the Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) in charge of Training and Development.
The representative of the IGP is also the coordinating DIG for the North-Central zone of the country.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that gunmen on Tuesday morning killed two soldiers and a policeman at the institute.
The IGP commiserated with Prof. Ayo Omotayo, the Director General (DG), participants and staff of NIPSS over the incident.
