Igwe Nnewi inaugurates new Nnewi Royal Cabinet

History was made on the 31st October 2026, as Igwe Nnewi, Dr. KON Orizu CON, JP inaugurated the Nnewi Royal Cabinet as one of the events to mark his 101 years birthday and 63 years on the throne of his forefathers. Recall that the Igwe had on the 22nd of February 2026 dissolved the Chief Dan Ulasi-led Igwe Nnewi Royal cabinet to make way for a more diverse and representative Nnewi Royal Cabinet.
The new 67- member Nnewi Royal Cabinet consists of prominent Nnewi citizens from all walks of life who are very accomplished in their various professions and trades. They were carefully drawn from the four quarters of Nnewi with a clear objective of supporting the Igwe Nnewi and the Obis of Urua...
