Ikogosi Marathon: Sowore Releases Video Of Suspected Attackers, Alleges Erasure Of CCTV Footage In Ekiti

African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has said newly recovered video footage has provided leads in the investigation into the October 30 attack on him and members of his team in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Sowore, in a statement dated November 2, 2026, said the footage showed the faces of individuals suspected of participating in the attack, which occurred at Tawakalitu Restaurant in Ado-Ekiti.
He also alleged that CCTV recordings from the restaurant had been erased after police officers removed the surveillance equipment from the premises.
