Ikogosi Road Race Returns October 31 As Ekiti Targets Youth, Tourism Boom

The 2026 Ikogosi Road Race will take place on October 31, with Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji reaffirming his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, grassroots development and initiatives that can drive economic activity across the state.
The governor’s endorsement of the 17.5km race underscores his support for youth-focused programmes designed to create opportunities for young people while boosting small and medium-sized businesses.
