Vice presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, has expressed sadness over the death of a former clerk of the National Assembly, Adamu Mohammed Fika.
In a statement posted on his verified X handle on Saturday, Kwankwaso said the deceased played a defining role in laying the administrative foundation of Nigeria’s legislature.
He said he had the privilege of working with Fika during the Third Republic, when he served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, recalling that the deceased was a calm, disciplined and highly professional administrator whose commitment to duty earned the respect of all.
