Imo political rift: Onyekwere urges Tinubu to intervene

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Onyekachi Onyekwere, has called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the political disagreement between Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and former governor Rochas Okorocha.

Onyekwere, who spoke with journalists in Lagos, said resolving the differences between the two politicians was important to strengthening the APC and its mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He urged the people of Imo State to support Uzodimma, whom he described as a politician with considerable influence and mobilisation capacity in the South-East.
