INEC presents Certificates of Return to winners of June 20 bye-elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented Certificates of Return to candidates who won the bye-elections held on June 20, 2026, across Rivers, Enugu, Nasarawa, Ondo and Kano states.
The commission announced this on its official X platform on Tuesday.
The certificates were issued on behalf of the INEC Chairman, Joash Amupitan, by the Supervising National Commissioner for Rivers State, May Agbamuche-Mbu.
In her remarks, Agbamuche-Mbu congratulated the winners and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by their constituents through effective representation and service delivery.
