The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has restored some suppressed constituencies in Benue, Delta, Jigawa and Kogi states, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The commission has also fixed June 16 and June 25 for political parties to conduct primary elections for the restored constituencies, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The commission’s National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Mohammed Haruna, made the disclosure in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja.
