Insecurity and 2027 elections: Imperative of Tinubu’s presidential order to service chiefs

Since his assumption of office as president and   Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu have routinely met with his Service Chiefs. In some of such meetings, he issued orders concerning the security situation in the country. The routine presidential directives to the Service Chiefs reminds me of the words of   General George Patton   who commanded the United States Seventh Army of the Mediterranean theater of world war II: “Don’t tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.”
