Nigerian rapper and actor Falz has recounted a harrowing encounter with armed bandits on the Abuja–Lokoja Expressway, describing it as one of the most terrifying experiences of his life.
Speaking during a podcast, the entertainer said he and members of his team were travelling along the highway when they suddenly came under gunfire from heavily armed men.
According to Falz, everyone in the vehicle had been asleep before a loud bang jolted them awake.
“I was awake and it was going. Obviously, we were asleep, so we didn’t know what happened. We just heard a loud bang. Everyone woke up and looked ahead,” he recalled.
