Iran has executed two men convicted of spying for Israel, accusing them of providing sensitive military and security information to the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, in the latest wave of executions linked to alleged espionage.
The Iranian judiciary announced on Monday that Omid Behzad and Pouria Safvat were hanged after being found guilty of collaborating with Israel and transmitting the locations of strategic military and security sites.
According to Mizan, the judiciary’s official news outlet, the pair supplied intelligence that allegedly helped Israel pursue its military objectives during the conflict.
