JUST-IN: Katsina Health Workers Declare 7-Day Warning Strike

Health professionals in Katsina State have declared a seven-day warning strike over the state government’s failure to address their demands.



The health workers, under the Assembly of Health Care Professionals in Katsina State, announced the industrial action on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, following the expiration of a seven-day ultimatum issued to the government.

Briefing  journalists, the chairman  of the association, Comrade ,  Ibrahim  Balange , said the strike would commence at midnight on Wednesday.
