Kaduna Begins Polio Vaccination Of 1.5m Children In 9 LGAs

Kaduna State government has targeted between 1.3 million and 1.5 million children under the age of five for polio vaccination in a sub-national immunisation campaign across nine local government areas of the state.
The exercise started yesterday.
Notifications have been sent to homes, schools, worship centres, streets, playgrounds, among others for effective coverage within a week.
The education officer of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board, Isah Yushau, told LEADERSHIP Friday that the campaign would cover 101 wards.
