Kano Hisbah arrests TikTok star Amani Ishaq, two others for posting dance content

The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested popular TikTok personality Amani Ishaq and two other women over videos allegedly considered contrary to the state’s religious and moral standards. The board’s Deputy Commander, Dr Mujahid Aminuddeen, confirmed the arrests in a statement, identifying the other suspects as Hauwa Khamis and Sa’adatu Muhammad. According to the statement, the three women appeared before Magistrate Court No. 5 on Court Road, Kano, as investigations into the videos continued.
