The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested four suspects allegedly linked to the farmer-herder confrontation in Gulma town, Argungu Local Government Area, in the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.
According to him, “Further to the violent farmers-herders clash in Gulma Town, Argungu Local Government Area, the Kebbi State Police Command wishes to inform the public that four (4) suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident, which resulted in the death of eight (8) persons.
