Kogi State government is implementing a preventive security strategy to address the resurgence of insecurity in some parts of the state.
The state security adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), spoke at this week’s edition of the “State of Kogi”, an audience participatory programme on Radio Kogi, monitored by our correspondent.
Omodara said the proactive approach was aimed at identifying and neutralising threats before they escalate. He said the strategy involves the strategic deployment of security personnel, including members of the Kogi Vigilante Service and local hunters.
